Can someone please tell me how to bleed the brakes on this vehicle? The book says something about keeping the "metering valve" open? I've bled brakes before but never on a chevy and never with ABS. We've replaced the master cylinder, all we have left to do is bleed the system(yes, we bench bled the master cylinder). Also, if I do have to keep that valve open while bleeding, how do I do it? I've called and cannot find the tool to do it anywhere...... Thanks

This is what the 98 Helm's manual says for my truck, bleed them as normal till the air is gone. Then it says to run on the tech toolthe Automated bleed proceddure once for a gas and run the Function test 4 times for a diesel.
    Hope this helps you.
