Been an occasional lurker and finally joined. I'm from north central MA currently in my 38th year of having a residential plow route. My first plow truck was a 1978 Chevy 1/2 ton 4sp with a Fisher dual control plow, I thought I died and went to heaven when I bought my second truck that was an auto with single control joy stick. Currently we have 3) 1/2 ton reg cab short beds with Fisher 7.5' straight blades and a 2500 HD dbl cab with an Fisher XLS. We ran our first Fisher V plow in 1997 and swapped to the XLS in 2012. I love the content on the site and have been reading old threads for days now. Seems like with plowing snow you either love it or hate there is no middle ground. Hope everybody is having a great winter, looks like we have another potential storm coming at the end of the week. Added some pics as I know how much we all love them. :):plowblue:

Everything is so new and shiny o_O haha. Awesome set up and garage. Im fkn loving that all your plows are straight blades. I see you are a dedicated GM man, I like it. You should post a picture of your old chevy sometime. Do you guys do your own wrenching?
Yes 3 straight blades and 1 XLS. I wish I had a pic of the Chevy but I'm afraid I do not. Here's one of my wife's 86 Blazer that we started plowing with in 1995. 1978 F250, 1995 F350 and the fleet a few years back. As far as wrenching goes that would be absolutely not.
