best way to wire a beacon light

    i was looking for some thoughts on hard wiring a 100watt beacon light to my 1995 chevy 2500.i was able to use the auxiliary light circuit through the switch on the dash when i did my 2004 chevy hd.any thoughts would be appreciated!

    I wired mine through a relay mounted under the hood to a toggle switch I put in the dash (in the empty space above the cargo light switch). I took the feed for both the switch circuit and the beacon feed from one of the auxiliary studs in the underhood electrical panel.
