I have a 18 1500 z71 with plow prep package. It takes the high capacity air filter (85 pleats from what I can find). Went to a local autozone and federated both were like what? Anyone have a source. Thanks....

Rock auto only sells the standard one, as well as the local listed above? Snow plow prep package says rpo k47 high capacity filter. Looks like a trip to Chevrolet to get one. Even shocked nobody on ebay sells these.

My luck something would happen and GM would say you put the wrong filter in. The high cap has more pleats from what I have found.

If there is 2 listed, 1 for regular and 1 for severe duty, then how are they going to say you put the wrong one in?

GM uses one filter on 2018 for K47 or without K47. Same airbox p/n for both K47 and without K47.

23349854/A3218C is the OE filter.

This reminds me of all the kids putting air intakes on their duramaxes back in my sled pulling days "cause they had a tuner".

Stock airbox was good for more HP than the factory torque converter could hold... but they still had a stock transmission. :laugh:
