Ok, bought a unimount for an ‘04 Silverado 2500hd, upgraded from the relay harness to the 3 pin harness and isolation module. Upgraded the plow side also. Now I’m looking for the cheapest route to new lights that will plug in to the western harness. Is there a set out there that will do that or is that only if I buy factory lights. Thanks for the insight in advance.

Plug and play will be OEM only. I'm not aware of any aftermarket option that is plug in compatible

The OEM dual halogens will do so, though you'll need extension brackets for them to fit or you'll need to modify the light bar

I sorta already planned to modify the light bar because of how ridiculously big it is on my truck. Plus the new harness is rather short.

Do those lights plug into the odd 3 plug end inside the old unimount housing ? It's not a standard 3 prong end in there, but that offset single blade odd setup that I've had to make adapters for. Works fine, but a pain to have to adapt stuff.

I assume you're gonna have to cut, splice, and heat shrink, no ?

What I do, is I take the lamp apart. Run the original harness into the lamp and make any wiring connections there. It is not hard to do.

Someone should modify some Trucklite LEDs with DD plugs and sell them...

I did these "universal" lights, makes a difference for sure. Got em off eBay for around $150.
