After deciding to leave my cap on the bed while plowing, I want to add a back up camera to my rig. I am glad somebody mentioned to get a heated camera. I just installed a Double Din style multimedia receiver.
Receiver is ready for a back up camera. So I dont need a "rear view camera kit". I just need a good high quality camera.

I dont know anything about em and was wondering if I could find some guidance here.

I like the infrared/night vision and the heated options. I also like the ones that have viewing options.
For instance I saw one that had 3 options...
    A) standard wide angle view. B) straight down view for looking at hitch
and C) a split view or wide left and wide right.

My question is, have you guys installed these types pf cameras?
and which ones have proven to last through more than one season?

    Thanks in advance

I never seen a heated one. I've had mine on my license plate for 5 years. I love it for hooking up trailers
