Backdraging problem

We got our first wet heavy snow (about 8") and I was backdraging and my plow would not lift up. So I got out to look and found the snow somehow stood the kickstand up, must have been when I stopped and pulled forward a little. So I cleared the snow away and pushed it down, then I found a lock pin in my glovebox and used it to secure the kickstand. Anyone else have this happen to them?

On my VX I use the lock pin to hold it up when unmounting and down after it's mounted.

Had it happen to me once when the snow was real heavy and wet. Freaked me out for a minute but hasn't not happened since.
