What I am looking for is measurements for a backdrag blade.

I have a Western Unimount 7.5 pro plow

I will be either be using 3/8 or 1/2 flat steel.

Below is a drawing of a backdrag blade ( I tried to draw one :dizzy:)

    What I am looking for

    A) Height for top ?

    B) Angle of degree? On the western site, it show the back blade has a bend between the top and bottom.

    C) Height for the bottom. Would that be the same measurement as the plow blade from bottom rail to the floor?

    D) Does the top has holes or slots?

    __________Top ?___________________________
    |_________________________________________| < angle
    |_________Bottom ?_________________________|

I know I could buy the blade. I would like to make the blade.

Any help would be appreciate .

The top edge is about 3", the bottom edge is 2" and the angle is approximately 135°. I'm not sure if it had holes or slots.

$175 for one? I remember paying $65 a year and a half ago. Ouch!
