Hi everyone, Have had a BUB for several years, only problem is having a lock on it. I have tried almost all of the hitch lock set ups from all of the national auto stores, however every year because of the salt conditions from plowing it comes to forcibly cutting the thing off. I sprayed just about every lubricant in the cylinder. Its just a matter of time when I leave the truck parked somewhere even for a few minutes it will be gone when I get back, thanks Jerry.

Use a bolt with a lock nut. They will need tools to take it.

x2 Thieves are looking for a quick take usually, anything to discourage them will make them move onto easier prey....typically.

Hi jerry the thing I've found works best is putting a little never seize on the shaft and in the lock plus every month or so unlock it and lock to keep it operational.
