Any one running backdrag blades and getting more rust on concrete because of it? We outfitted one truck last year and the performance of the blade was great, but now we've spent 2 days pressure washing drives to get the rust off- 3 times more rust than normal and it does not come off easily. I believe they use a softer steel so it wears with the main blade, but it gets left behind on the concrete. We plan on switching to urethane this winter on a few trucks, does anyone make a urethane backdrag blade?

This subject has been discussed before.

Think about this before you condemn the plow for the rust stains.

    1. If enough of the edge wore off to stain the drive The edge would wear out very quickly.
    2. These shavings would be so small that the wind, melting snow, rain and driving on the drive would disperse the shavings.
