Axle bolts

    What do I torque the bolts that hold in the rear axle to. 2004 Chevy 2500HD. The eight bolts on the hub. Thanks.

    You didn't mention which axle you have but here's the specs on the axle flange torque for both:

    10.5 rear is 115 ftlbs
    11.5 rear is 148 ftlbs

    If you aren't sure on which rear you do have:
    If it's a 6.0 truck it'll have the 10.5
    If its a Duramax or 8.1 it'll be the 11.5.
