I have an 05 Sierra 2500 and the aux. power outlet stopped working. It looks like the fuse is intact and no short found. Any help?

Is there voltage at the posts where the wires come into it?

I am not sure, I do not have a volt meter. I will have to borrow one and see.

just had this problem. melted harness needed to be replaced.

All fixed, it was the socket itself. Thanks for the help....
