At work yesterday when we were done plowing, we washed all of the trucks down and applied a thin layer of kerosene to the body with a 2.5 gallon pmp sprayer. Supposedly it forms a thin layer on the body that prevent salt from sticking and prevents any rusting. Anyon eelse do this to thier trucks. I'm pretty sure the DOT trucks apply them to their trucks and that might explain why they still ave trucks from the late 80's with not a spot of rust on them especially after all that salt they spread.
