Anyone use one of these for salting?

    I have one for seeding or fertilizing
    But I know a guy that ran one on a truck with a motor hook to it

    Nope, not for salt.

    Just asking, if I pick up this place I'll have my buddy park his tractor there with a put box and have a small salt pile for him. Lot should take less the 500 lbs each time.

    They love to rust from fertilizer, would assume it's worse with salt. Don't be surprised if it doesn't last very long once it gets winter duty.

    It's gotta be dry salt otherwise it just cakes up.
