Alternator question

    Is idle amperage what u should look at when looking at high output alternator ? I'm thinking of getting a mean green? Any good ?

    At idel they are all mostly close to the same output.
    It's at 1200rpm that they will start to produce the higher amounts of amps or produce their rated output.

    They only put out at idle 1/4 to 1/3 of it's total rated amps. What RPM do you plow at ? Right above idle. Use to search function on the line at top. Charging / Duel Batteries has been beat to death most years.
