Adding locking or limited slip differentials to wheel loader.

    We bought a Kawaski 60z wheel loader a few years ago after using it we are finding it doesn't push snow quite as well as it could. Can differentials be upgraded to limited slip or locking that seems to be the issue is the times aren't getting the power to the ground on slips all the power goes there. If do any ideas on ball park cost.

    Diffs can be quite costly. I wouldn't recommend it. Turning with wheels locked would bind some seriously expensive parts. I grenaded a rear diff and driveshaft in my loader and used parts total were over $5k.

    Initial cost wouldn't even be my concern. Breaking something would be.

    I guess I'm confused because I know they are offered as an option on many brands.
