those of you who service your own vehicles and have IFS and have ever had to do any transmisson or suspension work know that removing the torsion from a torsion key can be very dangerous. after having done this multiple times with gear pullers (as recomended in some repair manuals) and jacks (not recomended.... ever) and almost shitting my pants when i thought the torsion bar was going to unload unexpectedly. I decided it was time to come up with something just a little bit safer. heres what I did. just some u bolts a steel plate and a grade 8 bolt....... and yes i know its rusty and dirty :waving:

I feel its a little safer then thoose tools as there's no way its going to slip, shift, or any of that when its on there. Don't get me wrong its still crazy but any tool you use for the job is going to be I feel. Plus this one essentially free

Never owned a torsion bar suspension truck, so I can't picture what either of those tools do.
