I have a 1998 GMC K1500 4x4 and I brought a Myers 7.5 Plow this week and Timbers for the front end from the suggestions from this site. Is there any thing else that I can do? This will be my first year plowing.

Thanks for the quick reply. The truck is a z71 edition and it has one. The truck has only 60,000 miles on it. I like to keep it for a while. That is why I want to set it up right. I have been reading about adjusting the torsion bars is that really nessary?

It's not needed if you have the timbrens, they'll do a better job of helping carry the load.
