Hello, I am new to this whole thing, (The site). Anyhow I have a '96 Ranger with a 6'8 sno-way poly plow. When I move the plow Up, Down, Left or Right, it has a tremendous draw on my charging system.

I installed a 150 amp alternator, but still when I move the plow it damn there bottoms out the battery gauge in side the truck.

Is this normal for a plow to do this....? Or is my battery junk....?

Battery shows a good charge and always starts the truck.

    '96 Ranger 4.0 v-6, 5-spd manual
Ext. Cab, 4wd, Air bags in front springs,
    6'8 Sno-Way Poly Plow.

Clean all your power connections do an extra good job on the grounds. Your battery might be tired could be worth having a VAT test ran on it but I would first look at the connections
