I've a gas 360 engine, 200,000 miles. Has run excellent until recent. Started cutting out under power. I'd shut motor off, let set for a few, restart and would be fine for a mile or two, then cut out again. Ruled out water in fuel, replaced wires, cap and rotor, air filter, crankcase vent and hose. If disconnect throttle sensor, it will run fine though has some jumpy hesitation at highway speed, usually when foot not on pedal, runs fine when foot on throttle. Truck has NO O2 sensor or related exhaust hindrances, more or less a straight pipe. Has run fine this way all winter. Ideas?

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

Does it backfire when getting off the gas??? If so untake gasket.....

More than likely it is a wiring issue and a sensor/wire is going south. Have someone scan it. There is no reason to be throwing parts at it....
