As the title says. First time since new. Felt a little miss plowing then sputtered to its death in a minute or less. Doesn't even try to flash. No angry metallic noises, loss of oil pressure( while sputtering), leaks(I could see on a snow encrusted underside), etc. googled it leads to solenoid, lift pump, inj. pump. Where do I start in the morning? Plan is to crack amn injector line and look for fuel. Appreciate any advice in advance.

Sounds like either lift pump or injection pump. Usually if its an injector, you'll get a knock. You'll need a fuel rail pressure gauge that can measure at least 5,000 psi.
