  2. Hey we do it on our 97 Chevy 2500 nothing is ever to wide. On my Ford I run a 9 foot boss with wings.

I just built wings for our 8'6" MVP at work.
I used an old steel blade, cut the last foot off each side.
Wings go straight on, no angle forward.
Plow is now 10'6" wide on a F350 DRW

Depends on what you are basing "too wide". Technically, as long as you can fit it in a lot easily, nothing is "too wide". However, getting traction to push it is another thing entirely.

I have a 2011 F-350 with a 9' Western with Pro Wings. No too wide if you ask me.

Can you post some pictures of this, this is exactly what I'm thinking of doing on my plow. Thanks!
