I have a '76 Chevy Blazer, part time 4 wheel drive, with a 350 turbo trans with a 203 transfer case. This morning, lost all gears except reverse. Anybody have similar experience? Is the problem in the transmission or transfer case? By the way, drove home completely in reverse. Good thing it's Xmas with no cops around!

Any info would be appreciated!

The problem is definitely in the transmission.. did you try it in the manual first gear position?...I'd assume you did and only used reverse as a last resort!...

If it has no forward gears what so ever then something happened to the forward clutch assembly....either due to a clutch failure, or it lost a piston lip seal off the forward clutch piston...or broke the piston itself.

All require trans removal and disassembly... :crying:
