i was wondering if anyone knows how much weight a convetional cable western pump will lift. i any re building the blade due to rusting out right above the cutting edge, and decide to increase the width for 7.5 feet to 9 feet and am hoping the ram will how enought power to lift it. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

If the pump motor and gear pump are both in good shape it'll lift it without trouble. If you find that it does struggle, some fresh parts are probably overdue.
