7.5 Contractors Grade Ultra-mount OWNERS

    I would like to ask any, all of you out there who own one of these plows to check something for me, and possibly make you aware of a potential problem.
    The light bar is attached to the main frame with (four) bolts at the base. This supports all the weight of the plow (500+ lbs) the motor and the bar itself. Look around the base of this tubing and see if you have any signs of metal stress, and or broken bolts, and or the corners cracking. Your responses would be appreciated. ::angry:

    king, there were some issues with the early production ultras in that area, western did change them by adding a gusset inside of the area that the upper lift frame assy slides over and bolts through.
