How many yards of salt would you expect to use on 4 Miles of roadways? This is a retirement HOA where pavement needs to be kept clean at all times

    Application Rates

You may want to consider a liquid pre-treat application before the actual event. This will help in many ways as well.

Getting back to your original question if your road is 25 feet wide x 5280 feet long = 132K x 6lbs per k on average = 792 lbs per lane mile. As we all know, variables will effect the actual application rate but this will hopefully help as a starting point.
