    I am starting to rebuild my 85 gmc and my dad was telling me about his brothers camro that had a 302 and i was woundering if this would be a good motor to build or should i go with a 350

    Good luck finding one. They were only in late 1960's Camaro's. The 67 and 68 had 2 bolt mains, and the 69 had 4 bolt mains. Those are the only 3 years the motor was cast. Remember one thing, there is no substitute for cubic inches. There are ways to compensate, some more reliable than others, but no substitute.

    I would stick with a 350.

    Go with the 350.More cubic inches,more torque,and cheaper to build.
