New here, curious if anyone else has a plow on a 2016 Ram Sport SWB 4x4.

Looking for suggestions for front suspension.

    Timbrens or leveling kit?

I don't want to go full suspension upgrade due to the fact the plow will only be on for 3 months. It's only attached during storm then removed.

Have you actually put the plow on yet and seen how it sits? According to the specs, that plow weighs 283 lbs. I can't imagine you should need to do anything to a 1/2 ton suspension wise.

    Installed it last week.
Suspension sits 1.5" lower with plow on.
While driving if I hit a bump the bottom of mounting frame will rub on pave.

Have not added counter weight in box yet doing that this weekend.

I know there are multiple posts about leveling kits and timbrens but have not seen one with a 2016 sport

This plow uses a front mount receiver
With the sport front lip the receiver sits low to start with. The ride is still fine it's more the fact of the trucks front end being low to start off.

I'll try and get some pics

Looking for advice on leveling kits
Any advantage to using a kit that just bolts on vs needing strut taking apart

Besides the obvious labour time saved

We haven't gotten an actual snow storm here yet this year when we do I'll be posting a review on this plow. I have seen some asking questions and most have not heard of this plow.

    Try the adjustable bilstien setup.

Looking for best option for temporary plow use
The truck will only have a plow on it for 3-4 months and I'll be trading it in come summer for a new truck
