Has anyone put a newer style bed on a 2004 Silverado? wondering if it will fit and how good / bad it looks. It is a work truck mostly used for plowing and some trips to the lumber yard.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Haven't done it, but the frames are different so I am not sure how the mount up would go.

Your 04 is a GMT 900 and the new ones (mid 2013 ish up) are GMT K2XX.

Thanks. I just saw a new bed on Craigslist and my bed is a little beat up so it got me thinking. I am probably better off with a flat bed but then i have to have new ladder/lumber racks built and it will also raise the bed up over the stock height.

Ibe seen the 2008 style beds on a 2001 and it looked terrible, new style would be just as bad. Lines did not match
