Trying to order a 3500hd Crew Cab STD Bed with a D-Max. Dealer's order guide has a Max 5600# front end. Did they do away with the 6000# front end? Ordering the snow plow prep package. Anybody have some insight on this? My 2011 has the 6000# front end. Ematch won't let you put anything bigger than a 8 ft blade on it.

Interesting that the dealer says your max if 5600 but the match says 6000.

I say go to your Fisher dealer and ask what they will install. Some follow Ematch and some will install whatever you want.

Plow prep usually gets you the 6,000 lb axle, on my 13 it did anyway

You may want to look at the wheel/tire combo picked. Don't know much about Chevy but on a ford it won't allow you to pick certain things. Just a thought.

I had the same thing with my '15 2500, dealers paperwork said 4800 front axle but when we checked the sticker on the truck it said 5200.

My 13' Dmax has the 6000 lb. front axle.

You'd think it's the same for the new GM trucks with plow prep.?
