So I bought two new trucks this year.

    1) 2011 2500 HD (Dual batteries) transferred my 8 1/2 pro plus to the truck

    2) 2012 1500 (Plow prep package) installed new 7 1/2 poly mid weight

Never seen this before, unless in operation by trucks without enough juice. Both plows at idle or cruising down the highway at 45mph have very dim low beams. The high beams dont seem too bad, but not certain those are up to standard as well.

It cant be an under power issue right? Dealer told me possibly the headlight wiring is wired up backwards? Would that be the wiring going into the headlights themselves? Its crazy to think that they are backwards or something on both trucks.

    Any expertise would be great!!

    Thank you, Chris

Do you have the correct headlight harness's on the new trucks ?
How about the module that Westerns use ?

I'm just guessing here, but I know from my Boss install that the new headlight harness's have more relays.
