2008 F-350 power loss

    My 2008 f-350 labors going uphill the engine light came on and stays on. tranny fluid smells hot. any ideas.

    The easiest thing to do is take the truck to Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone where they will read the DTC codes for free.

    PS: Knowing what engine you have would be important for anybody to help you here. That way you can avoid somebody telling you to replace the spark plugs on your diesel.
