I know I turn off the over drive when I tow, should I do this when my plow is on? Should I do it if I put ballast in the bed of my truck? Fischer says 600#.

"If" ?? Definitely put the ballast in.....Make sure it is BEHIND the wheels. As far as Overdrive, hell no. You won't need it either way.

Welcome aboard, and good luck with your new plow! :waving:

Switch the OD off and use ballast.

What does your Fisher owners manual tell you to do? My mother-law lives in Portage.................stole her daughter up to Canada. She was just got home last night from visiting there.
