looking at buying a 1997 ford f-350 diesel dump truck. it has 100k miles on her with a 5 speed stick. 4 wheel drive 6 new tires and a 8.6 ft diamond plow. i looked and drove the truck friday everything seemed to be working, runs good shifts good. its in pretty good shape, a little rusty underneath but not bad, what should i be looking for on this truck? i know the oil pans rot but what about everything else, turbo injectors glow plugs? what is the lifespan on all that? he's asking 5 grand and its a 1 owner what do you guys think?
    thanks in advance

    Oil Pan
Radiator Support (watch for rot, its common)
Glow plugs are an easy fix (if theyre even bad)

Since its a manual, the tranny isnt as big of a concern

I love my 97, have had no motor issues whatsoever in 20,000 miles and 100 hours of plowing

Hope it works out for you
