Hey guys I'm having a problem diagnosing the fuel problem in my truck

    First off it's a 97 f350 with a 351W engine and is 4x4

After I had finished doing some work on the engine I finished and the engine light came on. I did the self diagnosis test procedure and the codes were 1 , 111 , and 542. The manual said that 1 and 111 were system pass codes, but the 542 was "fuel secondary circuit failure: PCM to ground"

I was wondering what this code means and what are some things that I could check to fix this problem. I could really use the input since well the truck is stuck in the garage and my dad wants it out of the way.
