Dodge 1995 RAM (2500), 140K miles, 8-foot Fisher Minute Mount

It has some body rust around the door bottoms and the wheel wells. The body shop guy said it would cost $1000 to get it fixed up enough for Massachusetts inspection (we have rust laws...) It passed its last emissions and safety inspection, though. Except for the rust.

Engine is in okay shape, at least according to the mechanic. It's had regular maintenance and low use, in the 4 years I've had it (just plowing my 1/3 mile driveway), but hard use with the previous owners.

The tires are okay, but it needs better for plowing.

The plow has some rust on it, but is functional.

It would be a good yard truck, or a good back-up truck.

I'm looking for a best offer on it. Blue Book is $3500, in "fair" condition. I'm located in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts, near the Mass-CT- NY border.

If anyone has opinions on what would be a reasonable price, please let me know! I pretty much just need to get rid of it...

What are you looking to get for it? I'm in search of a good farm/beater/yard truck. I don't want to register or inspect it. I don't want to lowball you at all, but the most I want to spend is $1000 just because that's all it's worth to me right now. I'm sure you're looking for a little more than that.

Not a problem. Like I said, I hate to be "that guy". You should be able to get $2000 for it. $1000 is stretching it for me. I just need the worst truck I can find. Hahaha. Thanks.
