Just picked up this truck tonight, good runner, everything looks good, very little rust. When driving I heard a water swishing noise on the passenger side up in the dash. I know this noise, heard it in the old work trucks I used to drive, can't remember what it is and the correction. Anyone got any ideas??

Your hearing the sound of the coolant flowing through the heater core....actually your hearing a mix of coolant AND air. Which means their has to be air getting in the system somewhere, either from a leak or a faulty radiator cap, or it's low on coolant. Might want to check it out... checking the coolant level and doing a pressure test on the system is a good place to start.
