That is possible, maybe a wire is goofed up under there or the actual switch is going haywire. And since we are on the topic of blinkers, did you check the blinker fluid?? :D

I can guarantee you it is a ground problem... now you didn't say what mount style this plow is (conventional, Uni or Ultra) or how old it is but it's definitely a wiring or bulb socket problem, not a turn signal switch problem as the head lights have nothing to do with the turn switch in the steering column..

I know you said you checked all the grounds but it still has to be a ground issue... is it only on the plow light?..or the truck...or both?

Once you let us know what style of plow were working with and how old it is, we be able to help a little more...

The bulb sockets have a habit of corroding inside on these trucks when they get old..I'd start by first removing the bulbs from the left turns, one at a time. If it stops lighting the indicator as soon as you remove one specific bulb..thatwill help pinpoint which circuit the problem is on..

Check all of your light plugs for corrosion or wear. Also, if you have a trailer light plug (especially the four flat) check that. I have had the trailer plug corrode and short and cause feedback into the truck causing dash lights to blink and other strange and unusual problems.
