1981 CJ 7 With Western Conventional Plow

    I just looked at on ebay and the bid is curently $1,825, it don't look like it's worth $1,825 to me. But old plows are simple. i don't know much about westerns but the old Fishers were so simple it's not even funny.

    If the underside looks anything like the top it looks like the frame will be like swiss cheese. The steel brake lines might be rotted out as well.

    CJs are notorious for rust problems -- both the bodies and the frames. The common spot for frame rust is right in front of the rear axle, at or near the spring perch. It's clear that vehicle was not cared for as far as rust goes, so I think it's way overpriced.

    Too much rust. You'll just end up constantly repairing it.
