1959 Chevy Viking project

    1959 Chevy Viking, was in pretty rough condition when i bought it. I got a local body shop to do the body work and painting. Ill take a few of the finished product when i get a chance. More pics to come...

    Powertrain? Some of those Vikings got 348s and 409s IIRC.. Looks sweet, gunna put a plow on it?

    Not really in any order, trying to find my camera with some better pictures on it Picture 1 is the front fender, 2 is all the rust at near the door hinges/ outside of the door, 3 is the cab corner, 4 is the cab corner, and where they had to grind to get the paint away at the gas tank. The truck used to be a state truck and the old color was that yellow, then it was red and now its green

    261 Strait six, no power steering, not 4 wheel drive, so the answer to the plow is no, lol

    More pictures. Before anything was done to the truck at all. Mostly Rust, one dent on the front fender (pic 2). Truck had no front bumper (pic 3). Done with pics for now untill i get my camera witht the pics of it after it was painted.

    I wish i could Find my Camera with the final pictures on it, Had to get some things on the truck touched up so i cant go take pictures of it right now. @thelettuceman I'll sell it to you ;)

    Slang for Chevy Straight 6 motor. Mouse is a Chevy small block, Rat is a Chevy big block. Early Mopar Hemis were elephants. 348/409 Chevy were "W" motors, Newer Chevy V-8 is "LS".

    Hahaha dont worry, that would be a far drive anyway. Using it mostly for hauling mulch
