Hi guys. I have a 96 f250 with a 2 plug Western Unimount. I connected the plow today and after 2 or 3 minutes the 15A headlight fuse blows. I cleaned the connectors with electrical cleaner and added some dielectric grease but it still does it. I purchased this truck over the fall so this is my first time using the plow. It worked fine when I drove it home from where I purchased it and unhooked it.

    Where should I start?

High beam, low beam, or both. Then you can pin out the nine pin plug, in other words, with plow off, find what wires go to high/low beams. run a ground. Then run power to lamp pins with a fused jumper. See if it blows. You need to try to isolate the short to a specific wire.
