Have two great deals on two 10 westerns for my f550s both diesel 2wd. A few people have told me these plows are too heavy for my trucks

I'm not an expert, but if I had a 550, I'd hang it and go!

I decided on 9's got a better deal and most agree that the 10s are a bit too heavy and with 2wd wouldn't be worth the extra weigh vs snow carrying capacity

If it's a good deal on the plows I agree, hang and go!

Would have handled it fine. I ran an 02 F550 with a 10' Leo for a few years. It was 4wd and 7.3, moved massive amounts of snow.

Got a full size 8611 on my 550 ( well its a 550 4x4 chassis with a chevy body and duramax/ allison). I would think that the blizzard is heavier. Truck could use better coil springs for the weight but it plowed lots and lots of snow in a few years.
