    This would have never happened if he had welded some gussets on the frame like you guys are always talking about haha:mechanic:

    And to stir the pot, a Ford or Dodge would have come out without a scratch.

    They had it hooked to a skidder, it showed it and the guy said it was a skidder. But, any ways I sean that video before on You Tube. It's impresive how much power a skidder has.

    Nothing was going to come out of that in any better of a form. Cab full of water trying to be pulled long ways overtop the rest of the truck while the back end of it held it in place as the pivot point against the ice. Don't see why they considered that a good idea in the first place.

    I didn't watch the video all the way to see. I figured dozer right away but never considered a skidder.

    Why wouldn't they just drag it out by the hitch? Can you imagine if it did work how hard it would have come crashing down. Makes ya wonder what some people think and at what point that sounded like a good idea.

    Maybe they only had a 10' trailer to haul it away on so they did it on purpose.

    i dont really know how he got out there but if he went out on the ice thinking it was stong enough for fun then theres no such thing as insurance anymore at least where im from

    I know a guy that put his truck through last Winter and he swears up and down insurance paid to get it out and paid him the value of the truck.
