I have the electronic shift on the fly 4x4. Does the front differential engage/disengage with the transfer case? If so, does it use a thermal type engagement? Thanks

I had a 98 ranger as a company truck, when you turned it into 4x4, the transfer case engaged, and vacuum pulled the hubs in. I had ome trouble with it being that the tranfer case would engage, but it had a vacuum leak somewhere and the hubs wouldnt suck in. Youll be able to see the vacuum line going into the back of the spindle if that is the type you have.
