We just had a plow put on a 2001 Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel Sport. The truck is a extended cab short bed. We are running a 8'6" Hiniker V-Plow on it. Is this something that should have Timbrins installed or is the factory suspension enough to support the weight of the plow for fairly heavy commercial use? It is the first nice truck I have put a plow on and want to take the best care of it that I can! Please let me know if there is anything else I should do!

Add Timbrins- that is a VERY heavy plow.

The dealer is telling me that I don't need them! Since it is a Diesel and has the heavy front end and springs from the factory. Is that true or are they just not wanting to install them for me!
