Run stainless 8'6 straight blades. It seems every year I have to replace the cartridge that controls the plow in the up position. When driving down the road the plow likes to fade down and you have to push raise. Not a huge problem by any means but but I wondering if there is a bigger issue than yearly faulty cartridges. Thanks all by the way 2008 mm2 8'6 straight blade on f350

Fluid change every pre season. What would you check in regards to the cylinder without tearing it apart

take some paper towel wipe around seal, shaft and hose connections. run plow up and down and recheck with paper towel for leaks.
