x-blade cutting edge

    I need to replace the cutting edge on a 9ft x-blade. Can i put a 8in by 5/8 edge on it?

    guy that plows with me runs 5/8 x6 instead of the 8 inchon his x the 8 inch edge trips hard i run 8 inch edges on all my plows but there not x blades

    I'd run a regular x blade cutting edge in 5/8. Blade will trip a lot more with a longer edge.

    this plow is used for mostly on/off ramps not much to trip over

    i would run the 6 inch edge on it do u have a place to get one?

    Stick with the 6" edge.The 8" will increase the leverage and allow the trip edge to trip easier weakening the springs prematurely,others will disagree but i've repaired at least a half dozen
