Anybody have a good consistent source for bulk salt near western KY?
I need 2-3 tons per storm and I don't have a storage facility so my options are limited.
I'm in Owensboro,Ky about 2 hours west of Louisville.

Bill minor at magic salt, that's who I'm working with now but his bulk price is pretty high. I've been buying bags from him but I'm looking for ton prices under 100.

    bulk salt

Yeah, that would be the one. I am still looking for a bulk supplier of just regular rock salt. Besides getting it up north, I havent found much around here yet.

I have bulk salt in morehead and will try and be open 24-7 when the weather is bad. I will have bagged or bulk salt and calcium chloride as well bagged.

Yes at MTM, this will be our 11th year plowing and already is forecast to be our best. We are working on a few maintenance issues with a few plows and installing plows on 2 more trucks. It looks like a good winter coming. I should have a truck load of bagged in a week or so, I have had it on order for 3 weeks now, you have to buy early to get the best price. I won't bring in bulk until we have a big storm in the forecast, because of the cost of a semi load.

Yeah I am fixing some issues as well. I will be picking up our first load in a week or so. I will keep you all in mind about salt this winter.
