    Use him as a subcontractor.

    But make sure you have him sign a non-complete clause.

    Then give him your accounts and sit back and make money doing nothing.

    Anyone call him yet?

    Ask if he's got insurance, a truck, etc etc. Or better yet have your wife/girlfriend so he believes it more when you ask all the questions. Or say you'd like to meet him then "forget" to salt your driveway, so he slips and falls....

    There, fixed it for ya. At that price it's most likely done with one of those really flat red plastic snow shovels you find at a discount store.
