Did you have a harness for your truck, and wired?

Was it a harness from another truck and a different year??

You do have a wiring problem...Give a little more info on what you did????

Twinman326 thanx for the reply ...the wireing harness that came with the plow is off a chev its a 9 pin harness ..im not wireing the lights on the truck side ...what i have done is the 9 pin conector was missing pins ...they where broke off so i went to ctc and bought a 6 pin conector male and female and a 4 pin male and female conector and cut the old plugs off and wired up the 2 new ones i bought leaving 1 wire not touched as a left over ...i coulor matched the wires ..then hooked up the selonoid ..using the diagram the dealer provided for the power from battery to selonoid and out to plow then wired the brown /red wire to the term closest to the cable to plow side and the org/black wire to battery side of the selonoid ..i hooked up the controlor with a ign/poss wire and turned it on when i moved the joy stick the first time nothing i moved the wires brown and orange around as i tryed the controlor and the plow turned right and the signal came on ..thats all it will do

Red/brown to one small terminal on the solenoid, org/blk to the other small terminal with a jumper to ground at battery.

The only thing this adventure is missing is some C4 and a match.

Just make sure as to what crash said.......brown/red to (one) small terminal on the solenoid, black/orange to the other small terminal, then to the negative terminal on the battery. Just to let you know, they do make a repair kit for the harness. Here are the links just in case.

9 pin plow side plug repair kit ($61.00)
